CRIION is highly interconnected with LabMait, a company developing innovative cell culture technologies. The cell culture systems are interconnected with artificial intelligence for self-improvement of cell culture conditions and techniques.
Vision & aims
This institute promotes the use and development of artificial intelligence in oncology and also includes ethical aspects. Currently its main location is in Freiburg and it consists of informatitions specializing in artificial intelligence, biologists, phycisians and philosophers. Its main goal is to use artificial intelligence to enhance developments in oncology and to improve diagnostics. A second insitute will be founded in Halle in 2024.
