cryoEM and X-ray microscopy

We will visualize materials’ bioresponses across scales (from millimeter to Ångstrom) using cutting-edge microscopy method, i.e., cryo-EM and X-ray microscopy. We will focus on developing methods for structural analysis of chemical synthesis products, novel catalysts and their complexes focusing proteopolymersimitating membrane fusion. The integration of microscopy techniques from ZIK HALOmem and the Bethge-Center for Micro-Characterization will visually capture the structure and communication and adaptation of (bio)matter.
