Tooth materials
Dental diseases like caries and periodontitis are widespread and promote the occurrence of other diseases. We study new approaches towards tooth and periodontal regeneration via chemical materials synthesis, novel clinical applications and material combinations towards a patient- and problem-specific repair and restoration, including sustainable, self-repairing, and biobased approaches. Novel materials and application technologies bridges basic material with applied clinical methodologies.
